Some of the tools are not as important as the link text or the title tags but their presence is often felt in the page ranking and search engine optimization process. One of them is the keywords. Keywords are never treated as such by any of the search engines as they consider them part of the text. Yet they play a vital role in optimizing your search and giving you the rank since the matching keywords typed by the visitor redirects him through the search engine to your site. If you put a bunch of such relevant keywords in your engine the results will be good for you.
Contrary to the common belief it is not necessary to separate key phrases from the keywords with comma since the search engines ignores the comma. Since the H tags get priority over the n tags, you should try to put the target search item in the H tags as per as practicable at the rate of one per page. Always try to put the H tag in close proximity to the top of the page. It is one of the tested tricks of the website search engine optimization.
Another method for optimizing search engine results is the use of bold text. Though they are not as powerful as the H tags, they are given better attention than the ordinary text. Enclosing search items in to bold tags might give good results in terms of search engine rankings.
